Adjusting user permissions
Do you need to set specific permissions based on a user’s role? Envira Galleries User Permissions feature makes this easier than ever by letting you restrict specific actions in Envira Gallery based on the user’s role.
This guide will take you through how to access and set up user permissions.
Accessing the Permissions settings
First, you’ll just need to navigate to the Settings section in Envira Gallery from the WordPress dashboard then click the Permissions tab.
Setting up user permissions
After you access the Permissions tab there will be a few capabilities within Envira Gallery that you’ll be able to set.
Create Galleries – This permission will allow the specified user role to create new galleries, albums, or proofs.
Edit Galleries – Users will be able to edit any gallery they created.
Delete Galleries – This allows users to delete their own galleries, however, users will also be able to create and edit galleries.
Edit Other Galleries – Users can edit any gallery, even galleries not originally created by them.
After you’ve accessed the Permissions page just click on any of the fields to display a dropdown field with the available roles you can use from your website.
And that’s it! When you’ve finished adding roles to your user permissions you’ll just need to save your settings.
