Getting started is easy! Just go to Envira Gallery » Addons. From there, find the Search Addon, click Install, then Activate. Once activated, you can enable Search on any gallery or album from the Settings panel.

• Album Search: Shows matching galleries within the album.
• Gallery Search: Displays matching images or videos in that gallery.

You can customize the search criteria to include:

• Tags
• Alt text
• Image descriptions
• EXIF data
• Comments (for gallery searches)

Vertical Focus Layout: A Sleek, Immersive Viewing Experience

Looking for a fresh, modern way to showcase your images? Envira Gallery’s new Vertical Focus layout transforms your galleries into an engaging, interactive experience.

Designed for seamless navigation on any device, this layout puts your images front and center:

• On mobile: A single, uncropped spotlight image appears at the top, with a scrollable two-column grid of thumbnails below.
• On desktop: The spotlight image is displayed in the top left, while thumbnails appear neatly to the right.

The Vertical Focus layout makes it easy for visitors to engage with your galleries:

• Click a thumbnail → The spotlight image updates instantly.
• Click the spotlight image → Opens in a full-size lightbox (if enabled).
