Most photographers know that Lightroom presets can save you a ton of time during the photo editing process and many are available for free. However, the best free presets for Lightroom are often buried among thousands of others or on obscure photography blogs.
As a professional content marketer and photography hobbyist, I have hunted through countless free presets and received recommendations from many professional photographers over the years. So, I decided it was high time to compile a curated list of the best free Lightroom presets from across the web.
We tested thousands of them, and now, we’re sharing our extensive list of the best Lightroom presets for every type of photography, all of which can be downloaded completely free. For anyone who’s new to Adobe Lightroom, we’ll also cover what Lightroom presets are and how to install them.
Presets are pre-configured settings that can be applied to your photos in Adobe Lightroom. Think of them as one-click filters or templates that can cut your post-processing time in half. Instead of manually tweaking various settings like exposure, contrast, and color balance for each photo, presets allow you to achieve a specific look or style instantly.
Whether you’re brand new to image editing software, still figuring out all intricacies of manual editing, or a professional photographer looking to speed up your workflow, free presets for Lightroom offer an excellent solution.

Hi Wendy,
We don’t sell presets or receive any commission from the sites listed in this article. It’s a compiled list of all our favorite free presets from across the internet, so the download processes varies for each depending on the website where it’s offered. However, I just tested Green Greens again and was able to download it successfully. Here are the steps I followed:
1. Click the link in this article to go to PresetLove’s website where it’s offered.
2. Click the “download free” button and put in your email.
3. Log into your email and look for an email from PresetLove (check your spam folder – that’s where it went for me). In the email click the button that says Confirm My Email.
4. After that, they’ll send you another email that has a link to download the preset file. It took about 10 minutes for me to receive the 2nd email, but check your spam again if you’re not seeing it.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
